Emma lecturing anyone about psychic ethics is just hilarious. I do miss Jean and her interactions with Charles. They have a much more interesting dynamic that doesn’t hinge on Jean’s relationship with Scott.I hate that it was Emma who gave Charles this whole walkthrough. Jean’s dead at this time, but I really do think she would’ve been a better choice. I think somehow she would have sounded less hypocritical and more balanced.

After taking in all your feedback, I’ve decided to finish off round three with a lightning round. So without the usual planning and fussing, we just write, and we do this topic right.
How it works: Write a pitch for an underrated book or series. It can be a short essay, a picspam, a top ten list, a mixtape, or a video. The goal here is to close off this round in style, with a bunch of fun and interesting recommendations.
Your due date: Post everything on Saturday. Post all the things. (You can post early, but I’m not collecting until then). Submissions posted after midnight (-5GMT) on Sunday, June 3rd, will not be included in the round three roundup.
Weekends are for comics (obviously). Spend this one writing about your favourites.
won’t be able to participate in this round, BUT EVERYONE ELSE SHOULD

We come into the world alone — and we leave the same way… the time we spend in-between… time spent alive, sharing, learning… together… is all that makes life worth living.
You might have noticed that round three hasn’t been closed, and that no round up posts have been published. That is because I received only two submissions for Pitch Me. I’ve been holding off on posting those, because I was hoping that more submissions would come in. They haven’t.
I need some feedback from you guys. Is Women Write About Comics something you’re still interested in? Would you participate in future rounds of the carnival? I don’t intend to guilt anyone, but if I’m going to organize another round in July, I need some inkling of what level of participation to expect and plan for.
Putting aside the bigger question of Women Write About Comics, I need to decide what to do about Pitch Me. What I’d like to do is organize some kind of lightning round, maybe over the course of the coming week, so that those two posts aren’t so lonely. Maybe we could write 200 word pitches, or compile top ten lists, or picspams!
So in order to drum up interest, I’m going to ask you to circulate this post widely. Reblog, retweet, or whatever is your wont, because I want at least 10 submissions for lonely, little neglected Pitch Me!

I would still like to write something for “Pitch Me!” but I’ve been pretty overwhelmed lately. Fingers crossed for this weekend.
And passing this along for others too!

“GET A FREE DEADPOOL OR DEATHSTROKE HEAD SKETCH!!!” is fucking hilarious because Liefeld’s Deadpool design is a ripoff of Deathstroke and both characters’ head designs are basically just ovals with eyes.

[Rob Liefeld] is a pair of blue jeans with a face. He has on a backwards cap, and when he turns it around, it’s still backwards.
